New Townhouses - Northland

In late 2020 we started a new project for a client in Northland, Wellington - 2x new infill townhouses behind an existing dwelling, on a tight and sloping site with limited access.

Earthworks were carried out by Compton Civil Ltd, with a considerable amount of soil excavated by a small 1.7 ton digger and mini dumper to remove from the rear of the site.

This project involved:

  • Engineer designed concrete foundations including 200 series block retaining walls up to 3m high

  • Timber framed construction with central GIB firewall system

  • Colorsteel Corrugate roofing and cladding with aluminium joinery

  • Concrete paths and carpad up at street level, with timber fencing and decks

  • Full contract build for both townhouses
